It was business as usual. I went to my office/dojo and
worked all day (about 12 hours). My leg was sore and tired but I pushed
through. I received a massage in the middle of the day and asked the therapist to work on the quads,
hamstrings, hip and calf to help loosen up the tight muscles. I thought this
would be the push it needed. After the massage, I’d be good to go. It felt
better at first but then flared up and caused more pain than relief. I popped a
few Ibuprofen and continued on with my day. Surely, it would loosen up after a
hot bath that night.
When we got home, Richard began some research on Sensei
Google and resolved to play Physical Therapist. He conducted a few tests that we
watched on YouTube to decide if I tore a ligament. He determined that my knee
was strong and if I tore something, it was diminutive.
