Got off to a late start today but
ended up at my office/dojo eventually. I hadn’t been there for two days so I
had a lot of work to catch up on. I had another visit with Dr. Pete for my shoulder
and neck, and he first had me do a variety of stretches on a vibration plate. Come
on now, it sounds dirty but it’s actually an exercise machine that people use
to stimulate the lymphatic system, increase strength, tone and define muscle,
reduce workout time and more. Apparently, they are popping up at most gyms. It
was difficult to hold a static stretch, while being jostled all over the place
and worrying about my knee being tossed across the room. Talk about
multi-tasking.
After my awesome adjustment that
got rid of the majority of my neck and shoulder issue, I went back to my office/dojo
just in time for our students to start showing up for class. The Youth All Rank
class was jam-packed and the energy was fantastic. Our dojo is getting busier and
busier, and it’s just plain fun to be there.
After all of the classes were over,
Richard and I decided we’d run over to the fancy Fry’s and go grocery shopping.
Well, we didn’t make it past the wine bar. We grabbed some sushi, wine and ice
cream (not such a great combo I discovered) and hung out for about an hour.
Needless to say, we held off on the grocery shopping.
Totally NOT a picture of me! |
